Multiple reports of attempt vehicle thefts, Heath Hayes

We have received multiple reports of offenders attempting to steal vehicles around Heath Hayes last night (31/01/2026). 

Hopton Meadow - Resident disturbed offenders breaking into their Ford Transit van parked on the driveway, at 23:25 hrs. Offenders made off, one seen on an e-bike. Forensics left at scene - further lines of enquiry.  Incident 776 31/01/26.

Grouse Way - A neighbour alerted the owner of a Ford Kuga in the street, that offenders entered their vehicle in an attempt to steal at 23:45 hrs. Forensics at location, further lines of enquiry. Incident 787 of 31/01/2026.

Melbourne Rd - Resident disturbed offenders attempting to steal their Ford Transit Custom at 22:53 hours. One offender seen on an e-bike. Incident 250 of 01/02/26.

Anyone with CCTV in these areas and showing sus persons, one on an e-bike, between 22:45 on 31/01/26 - 00:00 hrs 01/02/2026, please contact us on 101 quoting any of the above references depending on which street you are nearest to. These individuals were clearly intent on stealing a vehicle and may have frequented multiple other streets around Heath Hayes.
